Kotronis Plastics at the ‘Diamonds of the Greek economy’ for yet another year

Kotronis Plastics won an award for the packaging of crumbled feta cheese or feta in cubes in the ‘Packaging that saves food’ category at the Packaging Innovation Awards 2019. Our executives Loukas Leonardos and Emy Papadoula received the award from jury member Konstantinos Kyriakos.
More than 200 top company executives, agencies and professional associations attended the award ceremony, which was organised and coordinated by Boussias Communications, supported by the Association of Greek Manufacturers of Packaging and Materials (AGMPM).
Our company award-winning barrier packaging stood out for its enhanced functionality, as the flip-top lid allows for easily obtaining the desired amount of food without wasting any and without the use of an auxiliary utensil. In addition, the possibility of using a label with oxygen- and/or UV-blocking properties contributes to significantly prolonging the food’s shelf-life and preserving its flavour.
Catering for contemporary needs, this packaging has a particularly significant market share in the United States and Europe.
