Visit of students from the Department of Materials Science of the University of Patras

Within the framework of the course “Topics of Industrial and Technological Applications of Materials”, students of the Department of Materials Science of the University of Patras were hosted in “Kotronis Plastics”, accompanied by the Lecturer, Mr. Dimitris Alexandropoulos.

The main purpose of the visit was to understand the way an industrial plant works. In addition to the general introduction to the production process, students were informed about the raw materials and their use.

More specifically, it was analyzed the way in which each raw material is selected, knowing the application in which it is going to be used. In parallel, it was presented a summary of the Company’s quality management systems.
